Yesterday on Thursday, February 6, 2020, the President convened a gathering at the White House
where he thanked the people who have helped him trudge through the terrible efforts to cancel out his 2016 election.

On Wednesday, the day that the Senate would gather to vote on whether to convict or acquit the President, Mitt Romney made his announcement regarding his plan to vote to convict.

I think we need to really know what he thought he was going to accomplish by doing that - did he think that he would persuade others to vote with him?  It wasn't any more convincing than his speech in 2016 at the Hinckley Institute.

It would be truly wonderful if Mitt Romney would come clean and explain himself or quietly step down from his Senate seat and retire to spend more time with his family.
